BARS ENTITLED TO SERVE CERTIFIED ITALIAN ESPRESSO
Espresso is one of Italy's most symbolically resonant products at a world level. Unfortunately, in the absence of precise standards, a lot of sub-standard coffee has frequently been passed off as authentic espresso. However, since 1999 the Italian Espresso Institute (I.N.E.I.) has defined and certified through an authorized institute (C.S.Q.A.) the qualitative and organoleptic standards to be met by Italian espresso. We have certified our blends for bar use according to the strict disciplinary regulations (no. 008) of "Caffè, Italian espresso brand".

But that is not all.... It's now possible to get the entitlement to serve Certified Italian Espresso by fulfilling THREE fundamental conditions
1.Use of a certified blend of coffee (Miscela Masini, Bar S and Bar Euro).
2. Extraction of the coffee using a certified grinder/measurer and coffee machine.
3. Preparation of espresso by a qualified member of the bar staff who has completed a two-day training course
Bars with this entitlement are identified and valorized by communicative features that make them immediately recognizable to consumers: on the top right is the symbol of a bar entitled to serve CERTIFIED ITALIAN ESPRESSO.

This distinctive emblem comes in various forms:
- enamelled brass plaque on a wood support with the name of the certified bar
- decalcomania to apply to the window
- metal brooch for the trained member of the bar staff
- poster for display inside the premises
- original, customized saucer.

Various advertising initiatives aimed at traders and the general public have also been launched. These include publication of lists of names of certified bar staff and bars in specialist trade magazines. This will soon be extended to local newspapers. (News)
